The foundation of reading and writing lies in spoken language. Students learn to work together, join discussions, and build communication skills. Additionally, starting in Year 7, they study more courses, often requiring extra instruction to stay focused and enhance their learning.

Our Key Stage 3 English tutoring helps kids through this important stage of development by enhancing and solidifying their academic knowledge.

GCSE: Ages 14–16, Years 10–11

Our 2-year GCSE English language course covers English Language and Literature. Specifically, we offer both Foundation and Higher levels. Moreover, it follows the requirements of the main exam boards. At the end of the two years, students take the GCSE exam. As a result, they receive two grades: one for English and one for English Literature.

Our seminars meet twice a week for two hours. These sessions focus on helping students with their studies. Specifically, their goal is to improve topic understanding and develop effective test-taking skills. In addition, we recommend starting GCSE English instruction at the start of Year 10. This approach gives pupils the best chance to learn and use their knowledge at a good pace.
